Established in 2021, OROTONE Journal (ISSN 2771-8964) is a non-profit, international poetry journal dedicated to publishing ekphrastic poetry. Based out of Vancouver, Canada and Gambier, Ohio, OROTONE Journal seeks work that traverses the liminal space between object and observer. Tell us about the films that haunt you, music which unmakes you, paintings you want to live in — anything terrifying enough to be called art.
We want poems that cleave memory. The experimental and the timely. The haunted and the hauntings. Pretentious and unpretentious art. That A24 film everyone pretends to understand. Give us poems that resist art. Poems that reinvent. Poems that set the canon on fire. Our contributors are U.S. Presidential Scholars in the Arts, YoungArts finalists, Scholastic Art & Writing Awards alumni, Foyle Young Poets, and Academy of American Poets Prize winners. |
